What sizes do drawstring cotton bags come in?

We put some mandarins next to the bag while taking a picture, so it’s easier to visualize the size of each. 

In terms of numbers, however, the dimensions of the bags are as follows:

• 10 x 15 cm
• 14 x 20 cm
• 25 x 30 cm
• 30 x 45 cm

If mandarins aren’t your thing, it may be easier to picture a pair of socks or glasses to get an idea of what the smallest will hold. The mid-rage bags can hold a bit more, such as books, and the larger ones are ideal for bigger loads, such as a groceries.

What are the bags made of?

As their name suggests, cotton drawstring bags are, of course, made from cotton. But, to clarify, we don’t use just any cotton for them—each one is mindfully crafted with 140gsm Certified Organic Cotton.

As you can see from the picture, all the bags have a stitched organic cotton tag (see photo below), confirming that only sun, water, and organic fertilizers have been used to grow our cotton, not toxic chemicals which are often used for crops.

The organic cotton is not bleached with chlorine either, which is why they’re not only a beautiful natural off-white colour, but are more durable and softer than chemically-treated cotton bags. This also means that when your tote has given you many years of reliable use, it will return to the earth easier, lessening your impact on the environment even more.
